The BIG question is will Jenna Bush’s wedding ceremony take place at the White House.

Another celebrity wedding, and so many questions. Tom Cruise and Kate Holmes, Eva Longoria and Tony Parker, Niki Taylor and Burney Lamar… and now Jenna Bush and Henry Hagar. We are fascinated with celebrity weddings. Where will they marry, what dress will she wear, what guests will be invited and on and on.

Nothing wrong with that at all. But I’ve often wondered as I’ve watched this (along with the Good Morning America weddings where we get to help choose attire, colors, etc.) that nothing is ever mentioned about marriage preparation.

I know I’m biased. And maybe there is a reason the media doesn’t say anything about the couple’s marriage preparation. Maybe it’s considered too personal of a matter to mention (though no one seems hesitate to raise the question of whether or not Jenna is pregnant).

It just seems like it’d help if the popular media at some point could at least make some reference to premarital preparation. If you have some thoughts on this, feel free to comment below.

But I suppose I’m preaching to the choir. You are likely at this site because you have an interest in getting ready for marriage, not just the wedding. So the take-away here for you might be to discuss this with your partner.
