I’ve had many married couples tell me over the years that they believed that honesty in marriage was of the utmost importance. These were often couples who had marriages go bad and end in divorce. They learned the hard way. Small “dishonesties” can sometimes erode trust in a marriage. Disagreements not “put out on the table” can fester over the years.
