Barry and I are just starting our walk in Christ we are learning and wanting to do what Christ has planned for us, is one of the main reasons we have chosen to get married after 10 years of living together. We hope to learn more about God’s plan for our life and to have God’s blessing on all that we attempt to do in our marriage together.

Thanks for the resources. Chapman and Stanley are wonderful authors. We agree that the Bible is the ultimate authority.

Thank you for the great summary of marriage-related scripture. We’ve read the occasional relationship book, some of which are Christian in nature, others are not. However, the Holy Bible is the ultimate guide to marriage – and life in general. It’s amazing that no matter what one is going through, it seems you can simply open the Bible at any point and you will run across at least ONE verse that speaks to your situation. It’s an amazing tool, and to base a marriage on the word of God is to ensure a long and happy marriage!
